Meet Dave

David has received the Young President's Organization's highest possible speaker rating. He spent thirty-five years building various ministries. As a youth pastor, his group grew from 15 students to 800 and as a senior pastor, his church grew from 400 to 18,000. Palm Desert City Council hailed, "David Moore Day" to honor his positive contribution to the city.

Audiences are consistently engaged by Dave's use of stories and illustrations. He is challenging, aggressive, compassionate, pragmatic, humorous, and thought-provoking. His captivating style has an appeal for people of all ages and has a tremendous cultural cross-over draw with black and Hispanic audiences. Connecting and interacting with people is David's greatest joy. While his speaking engagements take place in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations and corporations, Dave's energetic style is well received - wherever the venue.

David has had extensive radio and television experience with his weekly television show taking a 9.7 market share. For ten years, his daily national radio program had an audience well over a million and was the fastest-growing show of its type in radio history. His current Spanish version has a global audience of nineteen million. With a graduate degree GPA of 3.96, David was placed within the top one-half of one percent of graduate students. Yet his deepest desire is to ignite the heart... not inflate the head... to initiate positive change and empower people to maximize life. David has traveled the world and led tour groups throughout much of Europe and the Middle East, as well as serving as a consultant to Israel's Department of Tourism.

David is a "life-loving" communicator who loves fast cars, faster motorcycles, scuba diving, and polo. He motivates people to embrace life and business with a renewed sense of passion and commitment to get it right. A native Californian and family man with three grown children who enjoy life in all its fullness, whether the family is exploring the depths of the Pacific Ocean or riding Harleys through Southern California, they are his greatest tribute to skillful living. He is currently a consultant specializing in strategic planning, marketing, and management team building. He's also a motivational speaker and the author of eight books including "Five Lies of the Century" and the recently released "Animal Instincts - The Ultimate Edge.

Beliefs

  • The Scriptures: The Bible is God’s unique revelation to people. It is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and the supreme and final authority on all matters upon which it teaches. No other writings are vested with such divine authority.
  • The Godhead: There is only one God, creator of heaven and earth, who exists eternally as three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully God yet each personally distinct from the other.
  • God's Love: All people are created in God’s image and matter deeply to Him. Central to the message of the Bible is that God loves people, and invites them to live in communion with Himself and in community with each other.
  • Salvation by Grace: Apart from Jesus Christ, all people are spiritually lost and, because of sin, deserve the judgment of God. However, God gives salvation and eternal life to anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ and in His sacrifice on his or her behalf. Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort. It is a gift that must be received by humble repentance and faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross.
  • Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless human life, willingly took upon Himself all of our sins, died and rose again bodily, and is at the right hand of the Father as our advocate and mediator. Some day, He will return to consummate history and to fulfill the eternal plan of God.
  • The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit, third Person of the Trinity, convicts the world of sin and draws people to Christ. He also indwells all believers. He is available to empower them to lead Christ-like lives, and gives them spiritual gifts with which to serve the church and reach out to a lost and needy world.
  • Eternity: Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. At the final judgment, unbelievers will be separated from God into condemnation. Believers will be received into God’s loving presence and rewarded for their faithfulness to Him in this life.
  • Spiritual Unity: All believers are members of the body of Christ, the one true church universal. Spiritual unity is to be expressed among Christians by acceptance and love of one another across ethnic, cultural, socio-economic, national, generational, gender, and denominational lines.
  • The Church: The local church is a congregation of believers who gather for worship, prayer, instruction, encouragement, mutual accountability, and community with each other. Through it, believers invest time, energy, and resources to fulfill the Great Commission – reaching lost people and growing in their personal faith.
