God’s Freaky Ways

Let’s face it, God rarely does things the way we would. His timing is different than ours. His way of getting things done is different. In fact, sometimes it seems like he actually enjoys livening up our lives with a touch of his eternal creativity.

Apparently the prophet Isaiah was struggling with God’s freaky ways, so the Lord spoke these words to him; “My thoughts are completely different from yours, and my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

Session one of this series is entitled, “Just in Time.” God rarely shows up early but he will be there when we need him – just in time. The second session, “Strength for the Moment,” focuses upon the strength available to us, but like God’s timing, he never gives it advance.
